Mercedes Carreño

Meche Carreño (1947–2024) was a Mexican actress, dancer, and model known for her work in Mexican cinema during the 1960s and 1970s. She became one of the most recognizable figures of the era, appearing in films such as La Choca (1974), for which she received the Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actress, and La inocente (1972). She was also known for her distinctive screen presence and sensual image.
